MUSEUM OF MODERN ART
Donor, Wayfinding, and Code Signage: Design, Production and Install Management
MoMA’s $400 million phased building project to expand the Museum’s public spaces and approximately 50,000 sq feet of galleries opened in its entirety in 2019 and offers a spacious, accessible, and engaging experience to visitors. To complement the modern interiors and allow ample space for art to be added throughout, a system of signage was developed to recognize donors, provide direction, and identify rooms and facilities. Multiple fabrication vendors were required to prepare and install the new elements. Coordination with construction crews, security, operations, and public visitors was needed for a smooth execution.
